Spring is Coming - Show Me Your Spring Best!

Hi everybody!

Spring is almost here, and I can't wait! I have yellow buttercups and purple crocuses blooming in my front yard, and I noticed the first few lemon yellow forsythia blossoms this morning...and I couldn't help but smile! There is nothing more beautiful than spring flowers - I think that's why jewelry designers over the ages have attempted to recreate that loveliness in their jewelry. There are so many gorgeous examples of antique and vintage jewelry to herald the coming spring, and I just love to drool over them! So if you have some beautiful spring jewelry to share with me, post it here!

VINTAGE CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS

Hi everybody!

I've decided to do a series of gift guide posts of vintage jewelry and other vintage items as unique ideas for Christmas gifts.

My first gift guide will be vintage jewelry, with an emphasis on one of my favorite types of vintage jewelry - rhinestones! Since vintage jewelry is what I sell, of course I love it and think it would make a wonderful Christmas gift! There is such a variety to choose from when picking a special piece of jewelry from a vintage seller. The price range is extremely wide, from very affordable to extravagant. And chances are, if you give someone the gift of vintage jewelry, your gift will be extremely unique and one-of-a-kind!

Here are some examples of exquisite choices in vintage jewelry - each would make a great gift for someone special - or maybe a gift for yourself!

Fabulous Fall - Is there anything better?

I love fall. It is my favorite season. It has everything...warm summerlike days, cooling Southern nights...slowly drifting into cooler days and chilly, roasting marshmallows kind of nights! The smell of freshly cut grass fades into the smell of burning leaves...And the colors! Nothing can compare to the color of autumn leaves!

Here are few pieces of vintage jewelry that remind me of this gorgeous season...

Enjoy!

New YouTube Video, And a Couple of GREAT Websites

Hi Everyone!

My summer has been so busy and full of work that I have been EXTREMELY negligent when it comes to my blog and my vintie friends, and I am really having withdrawal pains! With two kids getting ready to start back to college, three dogs, a duck, and a busy medical transcription biz, my vintage jewelry has taken a back seat. But today I did something fun and exciting for my stores, and I wanted to share.

I created a video! The program is located at www.OneTrueMedia.com, and I thank Lora from the Vintage Village for the info about it. It's a wonderful, easy to use program that is FREE (or there is a premium version, though I used the free one). I hope you will check out my video when you get a chance!

Also, I have also discovered another wonderful helpful website called www.bannerfans.com - also free, and just wonderful for creating avatars and banners! Many thanks to Kim of LilacsNDreams for the information on this wonderful website! I encourage anyone to check them out!

Thanks again to anyone who takes the time to read my blog - I appreciate it!
